Think globally. For the world the bicycle has more than revolutionized personal transportation.
Act locally. For a young, energetic generation, the bicycle is a ticket for self-sufficiency, self-reliance and independence.
The sense of pride from learning to build your own wheels can translate into concrete steps to broadening your horizons and opening doors to myriad possibilities.
Participants in the Echelon Project aquire quality urban bicycles as well as the tools and skills they need to use and maintain them.
Participants are also provided an opportunity to learn the skills
of solo and group cycling and are welcomed into the sport and community of cycling.
