Getting started is the most difficult part of any new venture. Who knows what a summer of cycling will help jumpstart?

Saturday morning rides will introduce riders to group riding. We will learn to ride in an echelon and benefit from working together. The group will be taught the essentials of riding, learn basic roadside repair, nutrition and the basic skills required to explore the he region.

These rides build up over the summer and conclude with the 225km Ottawa to Montreal Adventure. Early in the morning, the group leaves together from Parliament Hill in Ottawa and heads for dinner in Old Montreal. Working together there is no need for any following support vehicle. We start together and ride in echelon along the quiet country roads stopping for lunch in Alexandria and for all mechanical problems. This is an epic ride. A great way to discover what we capable of if given the opportunity to try.

In partnership with local bikeshop Peccos, new riders can lease a modern Eclipse road bike for the season without having to carry the full cost of purchasing a new bicycle. This special deal helps remove any barrier to being on the road with a competitive bike.
